Anne Thulin 'Mellanrum / In between' sept.4 oct. 11, 2008 - Galleri Charlotte Lund, Stockholm, Sweden

First, I'd like to thank Dragana for chatting with me during the time I was at the gallery. I felt most welcome.
The exhibition 'Mellanrum' or 'In between', like most exhibtions at Galleri Charlotte Lund, was a hidden treasure in the Östermalm landscape, far away from the all the galleries on or around Hudiksvallsgatan.
Anne Thulin (born 1953 Lund, Sweden; lives and works in New York and Stockholm) presents rather simple solutions to some very complex questions.
In the 'grey-scale' cut drawings, whereby she let the pigment spread throughout the 18 or so tiny works, are so poetic and beautiful.
Its amazing, in a day like today with the bountiful measures of computers and digital stuff, artists like Anne can sit and create sush poignant works of art.
